About this Awetastic Blogger

My name is Sascha and I am a student at Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona, California. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. I have the privilege of also teaching classes here. Currently, I am teaching a few activity classes, including soccer, volleyball, and an outdoor adventure class that gets to use the new challenge ropes course on campus. During spring quarter, I teach a class titled Teaching Racquet Activities specifically for pedagogy undergrad students.

I graduated with my Bachelors in Kinesiology with the Pedagogy option in 2014, and followed it up the next year with my Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education.

Physical Education really is a passion of mine. I really want to get out there and spread my knowledge to middle schoolers and have a positive influence on them to become life-long movers.

I really enjoy other activities including soccer, hockey, hiking, camping, video games, as well as food and sleep! I do like to watch various sports, mostly soccer and hockey (I am a huge Penguins fan and have been for the last 30 years). I do enjoy watching football (GO JETS!) and various other sports/activities.
